I believe that we are just very smart control response animals. Thats all. You can say that we take inputs in, and we react by giving outputs. I guess you can say that we are "fleshy robots".

And when we die, thats IT! We just die. We are done. No after-life. No nothing. Your mind and personality just cease to eggzist.

What sucks the most for me, is that whatever religion you believe in, or whatever you believe in, when you die, you wont get to enjoy the physical world anymore....AND I LOVE THE PHYSICAL WORLD.

I believe that if you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and believe that he died on the cross and was resurrected on the 3 day as a payment for your sins then you will be in heaven when you die. Otherwise you'll be in everlasting fire for eternity and it won't feel very nice.

that's a good one but I believe in that too. I've led a pretty decent life and all that hard work better not go to waste. It's one thing to help your neighbor but if you just cease to be, whats the point?

Im 16 i still got awhile to go before death is staring at me.

But for the topic at hand i do believe in heaven and hell. The teaching of Christ etc I don't want to get to heavily on this topic because this is where the flame hazard is at an all time high on these boards, religious thread.

They don't teach that in school.

All they say is we teach evolution and by no means necessary is evolution the religion killer you can believe in god and science

I wish to be cremated and my ashes spread about, so that I may become apart of all things from whence I came.

This is not a religious post!!! I only meant this as an alternative to the usual stuff we talk about. I don't diss on any religion that doesn't hurt other people. Whether you are Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian, even athiest; you have the right to believe in what you want and NOONE should tell you any different. I just wanted some different feedback on what your perception of the afterlife is.

On another note I do believe in JC but I do not believe in religion. I hate it when they ALL say that you're destined to go to hell if you don't believe in us. I believe in the lost teachings of JC and when he says, "Move a stone, turn over a leaf and there you will find me."

I don't know if that's word for word but the meaning is that you do not need an organized religion to tell you how to believe in God. I believe that is between you two and NOONE should interfere.

Still another note, noone should say who exist and who doesn't. Yeah there may be no physical Santa but his spirit is strong as if it were. If not we wouldn't celebrate Christmas the way we do. When you are a kid and you were lost or hurt and you prayed to God to help you out, what difference does that make whether or not he is in physical or spiritual form? Even if JC doesn't exist, why take away that joy that a person has when they pray to Him and that makes them feel at peace? What right do we have to dictate how someone should feel?
